SWARM CAPTURE AND HONEYBEE RELOCATION
Are honeybees swarming in your
yard, home, lawn, car or outbuilding? Please do not kill them.
Swarms are Mother Nature's way of spreading honeybee
genetics. The bees are simply looking for a new home and
can be relocated. Usually honeybees will not
bother anyone if left alone while swarming because they
don't have a home to protect, but they will sting to
protect the queen who can be found in the center of the
mass of bees.
If you do find a swarm, help us help the dwindling
honeybee population by getting them out of your hair and
putting them to work pollinating plants and producing
honey in a new and safe location.
